Rules can be a pain, but we all need 'em.
-Please, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This means, treat others fairly! This is very important. We don't need any unnecessary drama, and if you can't say anything nice, it's best not to say anything at all. If the character you play is rude, then have them be rude, but don't reflect that behavior while out of character. Be polite to others in the forum, and try to keep curse words to a minimum.
-This board is PG-13. So no mature content is allowed. Yes, you can have your characters be in relationships, and you can have them get into fights, and other such things. But no graphic/mature content is allowed. This means no sex role-playing, and no incredibly gory scenes. The occasional mention of blood when a character is injured and the implication of other mature content is just fine, but keep it PG-13, guys.
-We don't have an age limit, but keep in mind that this is a literate role-play. There is a reason there's a spellchecker, use it wisely. No one is expecting you to be excellent at grammar and spelling, but the basics are needed. If u tlk lyk dis den no1 cn undrstnd wat u r sayin. The occasional typo is just fine and will be overlooked, but don't make it a habit. If you notice there is a grammar or spelling error, you should go back and fix it if you can.
-This board's plot is based mostly on season 6 of Supernatural. That means, there might be a little spoiler here and there on the board. Even though season 6 is now over, not everyone will be caught up with all the episodes. Because of this, please try to keep spoilers to a minimum. If you know a person hasn't seen the latest episode, do not spoil it. It would be polite to ask if everyone is caught up before discussing anything. Same goes with Hetalia episodes.
-It ought to be said that the lore and religious "facts" on this board are based solely, and only, on what is true in Supernatural (I believe they use Roman Catholicism for the angels and demons bits and such). That means that what is fact in the universe this board takes place in is not necessarily what I, or anyone else on this board, believe to be true. No one expects you to believe that it is true if you don't. Basically, "to each their own."
-Stemming from the above note, religious debates on this board are very frowned upon, because they can escalate into arguments and unneeded drama very easily. I'm sure you'll all be mature enough to stay away from religious spats, but it needs to be said for a RP like this.
Carry on my wayward son.
-Again, this is a literate RP. Posts are expected to be at least two paragraphs long. There is no exact word limit, but two paragraphs is the minimum for length, though we definitely encourage you to write more if you can. It should be easy enough to get at least that much.
-No God-modding. This is pretty much a given, but it must be said. You may not make your character universally invincible, no matter how much you want them to be awesome and flawless. More importantly, you play your character, and your character only. Of course, NPCs (non-player characters such as creatures or a random person) are an exception; generally, unless you and the other person you are role-playing with have come to a different agreement, anyone can control NPCs, and that is fine. But you may not play with the other person's character. This means that you cannot control what the other character does, even if you already know an action is going to happen, such as blushing or something of the sort. That is up to the other player to do, not you. If an admin catches wind of you god-modding, you will be given a warning. Three strikes, and you're out.
-Please, post at least once within a two-week time period. More activity than that is stressed, but once within two weeks is the bare minimum. If you are going on a hiatus/break for more than a couple of days, then please tell us so that we know you haven't lost interest and are just busy.
-No killing off characters. Not your character, or anyone else's character. This is final.
Oh Mama, I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law.
-You may start out with only one character.
-After at least 20 in-character posts, you may reserve a second character if you wish. To grab a third character, you have to get at least another 20 on the second account, as well as at least 30 on your first account. This means you have to have at least 50 posts total before you can get a third character.
-The maximum amount of characters you are allowed to play is 3.
-You must be active with all of the characters that you play, not just one.
-Original characters are allowed, but we will be more strict with them than with canon characters. Please try to go into as much detail as you can with your original character, since, generally, you are the only one who knows anything about your character, and admins need to be able to know that you can play that character well.
-Gender-bends are allowed, but with one condition. You may not reserve a character if one version (the male or female version) is already taken. That means that if, say, Russia is already taken, then you may not reserve Fem!Russia. And if Fem!Italy is taken, then you cannot reserve Italy. This is so that we don't have to deal with doubles and makes things more simple.
-It should also be noted that the gender-bends will be looked at like original characters. They should be similar to the canon characters, but not exactly the same. We will be stricter with them as well as with OCs.
-As this is an AU, you will be using the characters' human names, not country names. If the character you want does not have a human name, give them one. For instance, Norway doesn't have a canon name, so you could name him something like Loki or whatever you wanted. Just make sure he has a name.
-If a character is already taken (meaning that someone has submitted an application for that character and has been officially accepted by an admin), you may not reserve that character.
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know.
-All fields are required. An application is not considered finished if there is a part of the application that is not filled out.
-The reserves, FAQ, and application boards are the only places you may post in before you are accepted. After you are accepted, feel free to post wherever.
-There isn't a word limit on any part of the application, but make sure you've added all relevent/necessary information you have or need before submitting it. If there is something missing, or if you haven't explained something enough, we will let you know, and you can fix it.
-You have one week to submit your application after reserving. You may ask for an extension if you feel you will not be able to submit the application before that week has passed. You may have up to four weeks' extension before your reserve is dropped.
-You will need the lyrics I used here in the application to prove that you read these rules.
Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call.
-Role-playing is allowed in the cbox.
-However, nothing that is RP'd in the cbox is considered canon to the board. If it isn't in an actual thread, it didn't happen. This is so that there is still RP going on on the board, and not just in the cbox.
-Keep the cussing level at a minimum. Not everyone wants to come in to see a lot of curse words.
-Keep it PG-13. If you want to RP something really gory or explicit, take it to MSN, Skype, or whatever kind of chat you use. If an admin sees an M-rated RP going on in the cbox, you will be asked to take it somewhere else.
-Play nicely. Remember that we can't see each other's faces through the cbox, so it's sometimes hard to tell if you're joking or not. If there's any doubt as to whether or not something sounds insulting or offensive, don't press enter. We want people to have fun and make friends, not cause drama.
If I go crazy, will you still call me Superman?
